Aaron Distler
Born in Vermont and educated at RISD (Rhode Island School fo Design). Aaron Distler - a printer of etchings, life drawings and watercolors in a style very similar to Daumier. Etchings are done in small editions and printed on various grades of art paper, including: rag paper, cold press, hot press and hand made French paper. The artist observes social discourse and creates a personal commentary based upon the interaction within the communites he is surrounded by. Eloquent sens of line and dramatic lighting bring the charactors personification to another level of comprehension. Aaron Distler's fine art is on display at Timothy's World Coffee in the Prudential Center, Boston, MA, until Mid December 2000.
